To celebrate the release of the new look 2012 Mazda MX-5, a campaign was created that celebrated the history of the worlds best selling roadster. That’s right the Mazda MX-5, now in it’s 23rd year, has sold over 900,000 and is fast approaching it’s millionth sale, earning it a spot in the Guinness Book of Records. Bet you didn’t know that.And, for you arty types, the MX-5 also has a place in the New York gallery of Modern Art as a permanent exhibition. Well, not the full car but the tail light design.
Based on all of this, we created a series of interactive banner creatives that allowed people to skin through the MX-5 and see what has gone into making it one of the most iconic cars on the road.
